Not gonna lie to you -- 2022 has been pretty rough so far.
There have been a lot of private challenges that I've faced in just these first three months of 2022. As well as not being interested in spilling my tea, in many cases I am bound by agreements and NDAs to not discuss. No, in the words of T'Challa in the Christopher J. Priest run, I'm interested in "new business." What kind of new business? Glad you asked!

The Zwari Nation has known relative peace for four hundred years under the guidance of the Shining Throne at Het K'aten. Fabrice Sapolsky -- the man who called me into the Humanoids offices many years ago to talk about what would become MPLS Sound -- has apparently stood in the light of the Triple Rock Church and had a vision, and that vision, apparently, was funky.
Now he's expanded his vision into an anthology with a collection of creators bringing the noise and bringing the funk, including me, working on a story focused on Los Angeles' unsung legends Klymaxx.
The project is on Kickstarter now in conjunction with Minneapolis funk legend Jellybean Johnson and getting some press coverage already.
